Physics at Berkeley has a long history of game-changing research, pioneer scientists, world-class students, and Nobel prizes. Find out how we are learning about the fundamental physical qualities of atoms with mind-bending accuracy in the atom interferometry lab of Professor Holger Müller and the ultracold atomic physics lab of Professor Dan M. Stamper-Kurn.

Note this is not an official DigitalHERITAGE event but is included for anyone interested in seeing these labs.  Anyone interested in attending will need to arrange their own transportation.  UC Berkeley is easily accessible on BART, the Bay Area's rapid transit metro system.  Bart info is online at www.bart.gov    Get off your train at the Berkeley BART station and walk 20minutes east up the hill onto the campus to Birge Hall.
