Visit Stanford's Nano facilities and find out why small is such a BIG deal! Tour the Stanford’s fabrication and characterization labs to see how researchers make and see at the nanoscale.
Three 1 hour tours, starting every hour on the hour. Registration is required.This is not an official DH2018 tour but is included as it may be of interest to DH2018 attendees working on the very small, with scanning electron microscopes, nanofabrication, etc. You will need to arrange your own transportation to Stanford for this tour. A rental car will facilitate your visit (travel is possible on public transit via the 511.org website but will take over 2 hours).
