Hayet began her career as an architectural project manager then a head of architectural department in a studies and realization center (URBAT). Her interests range from history and architecture to archaeology, and especially emerging technologies. She has been fortunate to undergo both heritage and computer studies in France. She thus earns a M.A in Heritage & Architecture from université-Paris7, and a MSc in Modeling and simulation from Université Henri-poincaré where she dealt with Laser scanning and Photogrammetry. Since then, her research including her PhD thesis focus on Laser-based 3D reconstruction of built heritage, with the development of digital tools upstream, to support the interpretation of the acquired data.
