I am a PhD student in the Graduate Programme in Information Science of the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a visiting student researcher in UC Berkeley School of Information. I have a MSc from the Graduate Programme in Information Science of the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and an undergraduate degree in Library Science from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, with an exchange period in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. My research areas are Information Organization and Social & Cultural Studies with a focus on the history, theory and foundations of Information Science, as well as on Knowledge Organization.
