Assistant Professor
Cergy-Pontoise
I am currently Assistant Professor in Paris area, at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, IUT of Cergy-Pontoise member of the University of Paris Seine , in the Métiers du Multimédia et de l'Internet - in short, MMI - department, and I am conducting my research activities in the Equipes Traitement de l'Information et Systèmes research laboratory (ETIS Lab), Multimedia Indexation and Data Integration research team (MIDI). I have joined the University of Cergy-Pontoise in 2011, after defending my PhD in 2010 in the Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes research laboratory (LS2N Lab), Data User Knowledge (DUKe) research team, Polytech'Nantes, University of Nantes.
My research activity is positioned in the data analytics research area, and I am particularly interested in mining big datasets by exploiting at the same time additional community knowledge, usually expressed in the form of semantically enriched information represented by ontologies or other graph like structures. During my PhD I proposed a new approach of post-processing association rules integrating user knowledge under the form of ontologies.
Since 2011, when I joined the ETIS Lab, I have significantly opened up my area of interest by starting collaborations with my team colleagues, but also with a linguist colleague from the MMI department and several cultural institutions (Laboratoire de Recherche des Monuments Historiques, Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Musées de France, Centre de Recherche sur la Conservation des Collections, Louvre Museum) via different projects. In these past years, I have worked on different research problems related to data analytics and/or user/community knowledge management which are described in the Research page.
