Yue Li is a PhD student at the International Doctoral Innovation Centre and a member of the NVIDIA Joint-Lab on Mixed Reality (NVIDIA Technology Centre). She graduated from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China in 2016 with a first-class degree in Computer Science. Her current research is in the development and application of Mixed Reality technologies in digital heritage and culture, under the supervision of Prof. Eugene Ch’ng and Dr. Sue Cobb.

Yue Li’s research interest is in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), with particular emphasis on the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality interfaces. Her research is focused on user experience design in facilitating social interactions between people to enhance ‘casual learning’ with cultural heritage objects. This involves a variety of activities including user-centred design, digital modelling, systems development, and the evaluation of usability and user experience, integrating qualitative and quantitative data and methodologies in research studies for the understanding of user behaviour.
